Sexy Snippets!

Another Sunday and another Sexy Snippets! The idea is to post just seven sentences to capture the imagination. Today, I'm offering another small sampling from Enchanted Skye. A contemporary Celtic tale of an ancient and potentially deadly charm and a sexy Selkie family.

Setting the stage:  
Fear, grief, and frustration, and a little too much scotch, push Jenna to the breaking point. Loosened by fatigue and strong spirits, Jenna finds comfort in a stranger's arms. At this point neither realize the charm she unleashed upon Alex. just hours before.

My 7:

Alex quickly moved beside her. Coaxing her onto his lap and into his arms, he shushed, “Come…come here.” Being Selkie, his naturally acute senses were than of a man and wild creature of the sea. Good god, she smelled wonderful freshly-bathed and wetted again from dangling out the window. The storm enhanced her natural scent. He wrapped himself around her, his entire being unaccountably protective toward this woman he’d just met. Resting his head against hers, he gently soothed, “There love, let it out.”
