Today, I'm offering another 7 from my break-out novel Hermes Online -- a story of metamorphosis told in one perspective only that the reader can experience the transformation as it occurs. It's also a CataRomance Sensual Reads Reviewers' Choice Winner for Contemporary Romance.
Setting the stage: This scene's conversation is done through an online chat and it's a challenge on the table. S dares Vivienne to steal his soul with her words. At this point, I think she already has. :)

S: But, sweet angelic V, it will take much to bring me to my knees and convince me to hand over my soul.
V: Angelic? Existence is filled with dualities, and as mere mortals, we must admit there would be no light without the dark, or dark without the light. This duality of existence was created for a reason I think. It makes sex fluid and spectacular, for if not, then why does it dance upon our minds like it does? As a would-be devil I freely embrace the concept of light and dark...mmm, but I digress...
