As she spoke with the man, I drank her splendor in. She was fair with skin like fine oriental porcelain, her features feminine and delicate. I couldn’t determine the color of her eyes from where I sat but her hair was so light a shade of blond, my eye had to strain to see it wasn’t white as it appeared at first glance. It was braided and, in that plait, fell well below her hips. The curl at the end of the braid and the sweat-damp ringlets that famed her angelic face suggested a natural wave. A fanciful image took me. Unbound it might come close to the floor if not sweep it.
