#SexySnippets & More!

Another Sunday and another Sexy Snippets! When you're done reading mine, see what the other participants are offering. I'll bet they're juicy. :)
The idea here is to post seven sexy sentences from your work.
I've chosen a few lines from

Setting the Stage: Nicolas, Ellie, and Luca are on their quest using clues in Leonardo da Vinci's book of love poems and sketches to hunt down small declarations of love hidden in the artist's artworks. Traveling to Florence before heading to Rome, the trio stops at Luca's family estate.

While true the family was aware of Luca’s predilection, I thought it prudent to keep ourselves to our separate bedrooms. Ellie and I felt his absence in our bed, for not a night had not passed in one another’s arms since we first came together as lovers aboard ship. By the look on his face the next morning, Luca missed us as well. Sharing one’s most vulnerable state -- sleep -- with others is a most profound declaration of trust. The way we wound comfortably around one another to sleep reminded me of the foxhound pups our stableman reared in the stable. To them, a belly full of milk and warm littermates to sleep against meant all was right with the world.
Once more I was met by questions of how to make our lives fit this world that would keep the three of us from loving fully.
Here's the story

What a wonderful ending to this two part series of Loving Leonardo. Rose Anderson's writing palate is amazingly colorful. Every word, phrase, and sentence have specific meanings that embed a picture in your head as you read, and you are in the scene yourself. The growing love between Nicolas Halstead and his wife Ellie is lovely, then add Luca Franco and you have a sensual, explosive, beautiful relationship. The reader is a full partner in their joy with each other. There's no doubt that their love will stand the test of time. Secondary characters are realistic - people you can imagine knowing in your own life. The scenes of danger and suspense are well written and chilling. This book and it's predecessor, Loving Leonardo, are so much more than erotic romance. They are learning experiences, art studies, history lessons, and most important of all - they are just darn good stories.
