Another Sunday and another Sexy Snippets! The idea is to post just seven sentences to capture the imagination. Today, I'm offering another small sampling from Hermes Online.

Setting the Stage: Vivienne's sensual penpal, the man she knows only as S, responds to her email. Sexy guy. She writes him back...

Every now and then an erotic romance catches you pleasantly by surprise. Hermes Online is just such a book. Because we get to know the characters mostly through email and chat dialog, I expected them to feel under developed somehow, but I found the opposite to be true. We get a very steamy relationship right off the bat, full of fantastic dirty dialogue, and the best part is that it never feels rushed or forced. We really want this unconventional relationship to work out.

This is an unusual story of transformation told in one perspective only. (psst...the Greek gods are implied)

Setting the Stage
Vivienne and the man known only as S are sharing emails that are growing progressively more intimate as time goes by. After the battering her self esteem suffered, each email is a handhold out of her dark thoughts.

We were cerebrally intimate yet knew nothing whatsoever about each other.  But I wanted him, god yes, I did. His words implied he was well endowed, and I didn’t care.  I didn’t care if he was ancient or younger or possessed an athlete’s body or weighed four hundred fifty pounds.  I didn’t care. In my mind he had green eyes the color of a still and shady pond and a short devil-may-care beard and hair the color of ripe chestnuts. Had I more details he couldn’t have been more desirable in that moment.  I read his last email again.
